Claims Policy
All claims for loss, damage, delay, or overcharge must be submitted to the Carrier IN WRITING, no later than the statute of limitations prescried on your Bill of Lading (BOL). Notice of claim must include a detailed description of the claim, amount sought for each item, and proof of loss/damage/delay/overcharge, as well as copies of all relevant moving documents. This information should be mailed to the Carrier at the following address;

All claims will be acknowledged in writing within 30 days of receipt, and a determination issued no later than 120 days from original receipt of a completed claim.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Advantage Van Lines IN WRITING no later than 72 hours prior to the day of the move. There are no refunds, credits or exchanges on deposits if the move is cancelled less than 72 hours prior to the day of the move.

Delivery Cancellation Fee
Once a shipment is confirmed for delivery, the shipment will be loaded and sent out. As such, any postponement of a confirmed delivery will result in a redelivery fee of $1.75 per cubic foot.
If the shipment requires storage in order to accomodate the postponed date, shipper will be responsible for all storage fees. Advantage Van Lines will not pay the storage of any job whose delivery date is postponed.
Public Assistance Deposit Refund
The deposit for three estimates is returned to the customer on the day of the move if:
1. Public Assitance approved the move
2. The client decided to hire Advantage Van Lines and pay for the move by themselves.
